Best skiffs for smock
Spyderco SMOCK. Yes please.

Spyderco Smock Perfect
Perfect fitment and action. Skiff has some competition in my eyes. This a perfect product.

A little stiffness popping the bearing in the knife but there are smoother action
The bearings areexcellent I did need a little time to install the bearings on the knife because they don’t want to slip into place I kinda have to role and pop them into place but they do work
-
The bearings super smooth but don’t fit my 87 balisong
Probably the best bearing action that I have experienced wen I role them with my fingers but they won’t fit the 87 85 or 82 balisong

3/16” Salt-n-Pepper Premium Caged Ceramic Bearings - (0.0625”)
Installed in a McNees PM Mac 2 Gen 2 - these bearings are hands down better than the stock bearings and even better than another well known bearing offering. Fit perfectly and are very smooth in operation. Will be adding to my other McNees knives.

Put these in my Paysan and they are fantastic. Salt n peppers are my #1 choice for any knife with bearings. Can’t beat them! Chris is not only a great craftsmen, but his customer service is top notch also!

Shocked!
I have had another brand of ceramic bearings in my smock since shortly after I purchased it and thinking I had the smoothest action I could ever get. I have been totally satisfied with them bearings since day one. One day years later I watched a YT video on bearing swaps, and the fella was putting some bearings in a sumo, an they looked different than the other bearings, black & white balls hmm? so I ordered them and they came,, well they are so much better than the original steel bearings it came with, and they didn't have them for the sumo on the other bearing makers site, so what the heck! When I was on the Gillian site, I ordered some for the smock, like I stated earlier I was quite content with the action the previous bearings had, but after installation of salt & peppers,,,,, HOLY SNOT!, it opens on the thought of opening it, and has never been smoother! I never thought it could've been possible to be so slicky smooth, it was almost fall shutty with the skiffs, and now with the Gillians salt & peppers, It has absolutely a drop shut action! So short answer, These bearings, in my opinion, are at this moment in time, the best knife bearings on the market, hands down! If I am wrong Let me know whose better.
